How can artistic practices contribute to new perspectives, critical dialogue and different forms of engagement? A conversation exploring art as a space for resistance, reflection and political transformation, examining the ways in which artistic practices can challenge dominant narratives.

Alice Cavender is responsible for exhibitions and publication projects at CAPC – Musée d’art contemporain de Bordeaux. She was the curator of Jean Sabrier, Ce qu’on ne voit pas (7 April 2023–28 April 2024), the first major retrospective dedicated to the artist and an important step in the recognition of his artistic practice. Previously, she ran the independent space BAM Projects, a venue dedicated to contemporary artistic creation and experimentation.
Keren Detton is Director of Frac Grand Large – Hauts-de-France regional collection of contemporary art in Dunkerque since 2016. She pursues a curatorial practice nourished by both art history and emerging creation, as seen through the prisms of various social, cultural and political contexts. From 2009 to 2016, she directed Le Quartier contemporary art centre, where she produced some fifty monographic and collective exhibitions.
Vittoria Matarrese has this year been appointed Director of Magasin CNAC in Grenoble. She is an Italian French curator and artistic director, trained as an architect. Specializing in large-scale curatorial projects and performative practices, she has held major positions within leading international institutions such as Palais de Tokyo in Paris (2011–2022) and the Bally Foundation in Lugano (2022–2025), and she was Artistic Director of the first Art Week Riyadh (2025).
