Create Your Own Linoleum Print with Emma Ekblad
Discover the art of linoleum printing and create your own unique print. In this workshop, you will have the opportunity to design, carve, and print your own motif using traditional linoleum printing techniques. Whether you already enjoy creating art or simply want to try something new, this workshop offers a fun and inspiring introduction to a creative craft.
Emma Ekblad is a first-year student in the Aesthetics Programme with a focus on Image and Design at Malmö Latin School. She is involved in Kulturcrew, where young people work to strengthen youth participation in cultural initiatives and develop skills in cultural organizing. Recently, she has become particularly fascinated by linoleum printing, a technique that combines craftsmanship, creativity, and graphic expression, which inspired this workshop.
Portrait Photography with Natural Light with Akram Mahmod
Explore the fundamentals of portrait photography through light and observation. In this workshop, you will learn how natural light can be used to create atmosphere, depth, and expression in your images. Through simple hands-on exercises, we will work with the spaces, materials, and light sources already around us, discovering how powerful photographs can be created without expensive equipment or technical expertise. The workshop is open to everyone, whether you are completely new to photography or already have experience behind the camera. The only thing you need is a phone with built in camera, but feel free to bring your photographic equipment if you have any.
