Youth Art Hall Pop-up at Triangeln

Are you aged 15–25? Are you creative and want to create? Welcome to our POP-UP studio at Triangeln shopping center, second floor, from February 14th to 25th. We are also looking for young creators who want to organise a workshop themselves. Perhaps you and your friends have an idea that you need some help to realise? Get in touch with us!

What?

The POP-UP studio is a space for and with young people. You’re welcome to create, have a snack, or just drop by for a creative break. During the school break, we’ll have visits from artists, designers, and other young people who will be hosting workshops on something they’re passionate about.

When and where?

All programs are free, but please note that our workshops have limited capacity and may fill up quickly. The POP-UP studio is open from 15 to 18 on weekdays and from 13 to 18 on weekends and holidays. You can find us on the second floor of Triangeln shopping center in the old Barney’s premises, opposite Cobbler’s.

Would you like to arrange a workshop?

We are now looking for creators between the ages of 15 and 25 who want to help organise a workshop. You get to decide what the workshop will be about and what age group it targets, and Malmö Konsthall will provide materials. Please note that since we will be inside the shopping center, we cannot use anything that is flammable, has strong odors, or makes too much noise. If you and your friends have an idea that you’re not sure fits these criteria, feel free to reach out anyway, and we’ll find a way forward! You don’t need any previous experience, just a passion for what you do.

How can I proceed?

Write a proposal outlining what you’d like to do and email it to ungaskonsthall@gmail.com no later than February 5th. In your email, please describe your idea in as much detail as possible: what materials you need, how much space is required, and how many participants you anticipate. Also, specify which days during the period (February 14th–25th) you are available. The workshop should be a maximum of 2 hours long. Plan for 4 hours of preparation beforehand and 4 hours of work on the day of the workshop itself. Compensation follows the guidelines set by the City of Malmö.
