Konstlyftet: Same room

At seven separate times this spring, during April and May, artists have met up in the workshop together with Art tutor Max Avasoo. The artists all come from Daglig verksamhet (a program for daily activation) and LSS (special housing for people with functional variations) but each artist has their own unique expression and artistic creation.

Their work provides us with a look into each artists’ visual world, and we see their interpretation of people, places and fantasies. All of it is brought to life by a wide variety of materials and techniques, like watercolor, acrylics, pastels and Posca pens.

Konstlyftet is conducted in collaboration with the department of culture, the department of disability support in Malmö City, and MKB Fastighets AB, and is aimed at adults with cognitive and/or physical disabilities within LSS. Konstlyftet also includes a public art commission set to be inaugurated 2027 in Kroksbäck.
