Public art commission in Limhamn

This year Limhamn will be adorned with art and colour. Under the guidance of artist Jamila Drott, work is now underway to create new public artworks together with participants from LSS.

During the spring, the group will meet regularly for study visits, creative workshops and planning the public artworks that will be installed in the autumn. This year, the public art project has extra relevance as it coincides with the Year of Architecture in Malmö, under the collective title “What Do We Have In Common” an extension of Copenhagen’s nomination as the World Capital of Architecture in 2023.

The design project is a collaboration between MKB Fastighets Ab, the Functional Support Department of the City of Malmö, and Plantan, the Malmö Beautification and Planting Association.
