Up-cycling of clothes and accessories with Janet Anderberg Chikane
Express Yourself! Bring an old sweater, the bag you never use, or a pair of shoes that lack that little extra to our workshop and give them new life. With the help of colors, fabric pieces, sequins, ribbons, and appliqués, you can transform and give new life to items so that they match your personality.
All accessories and materials you might need will be available on site, as well as a small selection of second-hand clothes you can choose from. But it works best if you bring something of your own!

Janet Anderberg Chikane has for several years held up-cycling workshops under the name Express Yourself. She is also one of the founders of BowDown Dance Academy and is currently involved in running the project Unique, whose purpose is to strengthen young people’s power, well-being, and belief in the future – and to show that their voices matter. Unique is a collaboration between Studieförbundet Bilda, Fryshuset Malmö, HelaMalmö, and Malmö Konsthall.
