Welcome to a workshop with Kollaborativet at Malmö Konsthall. These workshops are for families with one or more children with disabilities.

The workshop gives children with disabilities, their siblings, and parents the opportunity to participate in an activity together on equal terms. It is a chance for all family members to be challenged and stimulated, regardless of their level of fine motor skills or attention. We hope this will be an activity where the whole family can find it exciting to participate together, each drawing on their own unique abilities.

The workshop consists of 3 parts
– a creative part where all participants have the opportunity to make something to take home.
– an experiential part with taste samples from Kollaborativet’s sensory productions.
– refreshments and the opportunity for all participants to meet us and each other at the art hall.

Move and create your own trail of color in the room’s large painting.

Feel, listen, and fill your own tube with sound.

Experience different materials and create collages with tactile contrasts.

Color with ice and shape with warm wax.

The project aims to increase participation and visibility in cultural life among children and young people with disabilities who rarely or never attend public cultural experiences.

Sensory Workshops with Kollaborativet are conducted as part of Kollaborativet’s two-year project Close to You and the Milky Way – Participation in Cultural Life Where You Are and Want to Be, supported by the Swedish Postcode Lottery Foundation.
