We are open from 11:00 to 17:00 Tuesday to Sunday, and from 11:00 to 19:00 on Wednesdays. We are closed during the setup of new exhibitions, which takes place three times a year.
Malmö Konsthall is located right by the Triangeln train and bus station. If you arrive by train, take the S:t Johannesgatan exit. It takes about 15 minutes to walk to the art gallery from Malmö Central Station, or 35 minutes by direct train from Copenhagen.
There are several parking garages near Malmö Konsthall. The closest is P-hus Triangeln, which is open 24/7.
We offer free guided tours every day. On weekdays during our opening hours, we offer a 20-minute tour at 14:00, and on weekends, there’s a 45-minute tour at the same time. Additionally, on Wednesdays, we also have evening tours at 18:00. These tours do not require reservations.
You are welcome to book a guided, dialogue-based tour of the current exhibition with one of our art educators or art historians. The maximum number of participants is 30. Booking requests should be sent to info.konsthall@malmo.se .

There is a changing room with a changing table located next to the restrooms by the entrance to restaurant Smak.
You’re welcome to visit Malmö Konsthall with a stroller. The large exhibition hall offers plenty of space to move around, but please be cautious as some artworks may be installed directly on the floor. If space allows, strollers can be parked along the wall in Mellanrummet, located between the restaurant Smak and the Konsthall’s bookstore.
When visiting our exhibitions, you must store your bag/bags and umbrellas in a secure locker. We offer lockable storage lockers at both entrances. Unattended coat racks are available at the entrance from St: Johannesgatan (restaurant Smak).
Bicycle racks are available at Triangeln Station, right next to Malmö Konsthall. The nearest Malmö by Bike station is about 100 meters away, located on Pildammsvägen by the football stadium.
Pets are not allowed in the exhibition hall, except for guide dogs. However, pets are welcome at restaurant Smak.
We receive many inquiries about renting the exhibition space or our other spaces for events and photo shoots. We are open to collaborations and events that are related to our activities or current exhibitions. However, we do not rent out the venue for private events.

Malmö Konsthall has the largest selection of art books in southern Sweden. You can also find posters, postcards, and literature by local authors. The bookshop is open during the gallery’s opening hours.

Restaurant Smak is located in the same building as Malmö Konsthall. Smak is known for its excellent lunch.

You are welcome to film and photograph the exhibition with a mobile phone, but under GDPR it is not permitted to take pictures of other visitors.
