Lina Lapelytė is currently presenting the acclaimed performance Study of Slope at Lilith Performance Studio in Malmö, while also showing new works at the PERFORMA Performance Biennial in New York and the Taipei Biennial. On Saturday, 6 December, she will come to Malmö Konsthall to talk about her artistic practice. The conversation will be held in English.

Lapelytė is internationally recognized for her genre-crossing practice, seamlessly moving between performance and experimental music, popular culture references, and questions of gender norms. Her best-known work is the opera performance Sun & Sea (in collaboration with Rugilė Barzdžiukaitė and Vaiva Grainytė), which won the Golden Lion at the 2019 Venice Biennale and has since toured worldwide—including a notable guest performance at Malmö Konsthall in 2021.

Lina Lapelytė is also an IASPIS residency fellow in Malmö during autumn 2025.
