The poetry collection “En viktlös skärva av tid i Gaza” (A Weightless Shard of Time in Gaza, Aska publishing) was born out of the grief over the atrocities, pain, and fear that mark Gaza, and from the desire to stand up for the Palestinian people. The anthology brings together around sixty poets from all over the world, united in expressing their thoughts on peace, hope, and humanity in the light of Gaza. Aska publishing invites you to an evening with some of the book’s authors and the Moria Dance and Theater Group. The programme will be in Swedish.

In late 2023, Aska Publishing decided to gather a large number of poets in an anthology in solidarity with and in support of the people of Palestine. The anthology is an act of solidarity, showing how poetry can unite in the common struggle for peace and justice. The book will be sold for 250 kronor during the evening, and one hundred percent of the sales proceeds will go, via the Palestine Groups, towards healthcare in Palestine.

The program has been prepared by representatives of the anthology and Aska Publishing. The moderator for the evening is Rim Khazaal Nilsson.
