Welcome to the opening of the autumn exhibition “Liv som tyg” (Life as Cloth) featuring artist Lenke Rothman (1929–2008). The exhibition presents Rothmans extensive production of paintings, drawings, installations, books, sculptures, objects and textiles. The Red Cross Malmö branch is co-host for the evening. The event is held in collaboration with Moderna Museet Malmö.

19:00 The exhibition opens. The Red Cross Malmö branch’s craft group will hold a workshop from 7:00 to 9:00 pm

19:30 Annika Cedhagen, Cultural Director of the City of Malmö, opens the exhibition. Opening speeches with the exhibition curators – Director of Malmö Konsthall Mats Stjernstedt, Rebecka Katz Thor & Runo Lagomarsino, together with Fredrica Werner from the Red Cross in Malmö

20:00 DJ & bar in restaurant SMAK

22:00 The exhibition space closes

Malmö Konsthall begins an autumn of art with a joint opening at Moderna Museet Malmö. At Moderna Museet, the exhibition “Det fantastiska och fruktansvärda” (The Fantastic and Horrific) with Marija Prymatjenko opens on the same evening. The programme at the museum runs from 17:00 to 20:00, after which the evening continues at Malmö Konsthall until midnight.
