On Saturday, March 22, 2025, Malmö Konsthall turns 50. For half a century, the art hall has showcased cutting-edge contemporary art and served as a meeting place for the city’s art and cultural scene. We want to celebrate this with all of you who have contributed to making Malmö Konsthall the place it is today!

The anniversary will be celebrated with a program from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM, followed by a mingling party starting at 7:00 PM. On the same day, the presentation “Malmö Konsthall 50 Years” will be inaugurated—a visual timeline offering a retrospective of a selection of past exhibitions, as well as an introduction to the building’s architecture. The presentations will be displayed in a smaller section of the exhibition hall and will run alongside the main exhibitions throughout the year.
