The artists from LSS were Kim Nilsson,\u00a0Inga-Lill Andersson,\u00a0Marie-Louise Book,\u00a0Richard Hansen,\u00a0Thorwald Persson\u00a0and\u00a0Eva Liljevi. They created twelve paintings on metal sheets and a two-metre-long concrete relief \u2013 a central collaboration piece that now adorns the housing block by Stensj\u00f6gatan 24.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-style-plain is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-style-plain is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201dThe most exciting thing about the project is that the artworks are in a public space so everyone can see them, and to be a part of creating something that will last.\u201d<\/p>\n<cite>Kim Nilsson<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"is-style-default\"><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"is-style-default\">In the collaboration work, the participants chose everyday objects that they have a personal relationship to and cast them in concrete. The result is a so-called &#8220;glyfossil&#8221; \u2013 a completely new word that emerged through the work for Bellevueg\u00e5rden and is a combination of the words &#8220;fossil&#8221; and &#8220;hieroglyph&#8221;. These two words have been central to the processes surrounding the work, focussing on traces and thinking about what will be left behind. Even in the &#8220;glyfossil&#8221; there are layers and sediments \u2013 it tells multiple stories about life lived today, about human experiences and personal memories.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"is-style-default\">The public art project at Bellevueg\u00e5rden was the second in the series and participants worked under the guidance of artists Nina Jensen. The works were inaugurated by Malm\u00f6\u2019s city architect Finn Williams together with representatives from MKB and the Disability Support Office of Malm\u00f6 City.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-style-information-column is-style-body-text is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:33%\">\n<p><strong>Information<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"is-style-body-text\">Go on an art tour with the MKB art app!
