Opening FLIGHT

Welcome to the opening party of Malmö Konsthalls’ spring exhibition FLIGHT with Kudzanai Chiurai, Frida Orupabo and Eric Magassa.

FLIGHT is a group exhibition that brings together three contemporary artists who engage with themes of remembrance and reckoning: Kudzanai Chiurai, Frida Orupabo and Eric Magassa. Welcome speech and introduction by the artists, Director of Malmö Konsthall Mats Stjernstedt and Curator of the exhibition, Tawanda Appiah, at 7pm. Starting at 8pm, DJ Smoky Vahid, also knows as Måns Mernsten in the celebrated funk & soul band Damn!, is offering both dance and mingle-friendly rhythms. Restaurant SMAK’s bar is open all night.

The exhibition is open all night. The event is co-hosted by the women’s cooperative Yalla Trappan and restaurant SMAK.
