Ljus som berättar

The exhibition Light tells are the result of the workshops, all nine students from Vellinge municipality has participated in at Malmö Konsthall in autumn 2015. Together with an artist and an art educator, the students looked at the exhibition Light Time Tales by Joan Jonas and then the actual work in the workshop . The workshop has been based on methods and approaches that can be recognized in Jonas’s art. In three different stations, students have worked to subscribe limited by various barriers, create graphic prints based on coincidence and to act, shoot and arranging candles in a performancerum. The images displayed in the slideshow, students have themselves taken. Additionally, a selection of drawings and prints as they have done during the workshop. The project is a collaboration between Malmö Konsthall, Region Skåne Vellinge.
