SUMMARY:Sommartorget
DESCRIPTION:Start\nEvents\n\n \n \n\nSommartorget 2026.\n\n\nSommartorget\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nTuva Lundborg – Approaching Sandcastles  \n\n\n\nIn the workshop Approaching Sandcastles\, we move the beach to Konsthallstorget. Come and make your own castle\, or help build a shared cityscape in sand. Building in sand is allowing yourself to dream. What would your home\, your neighborhood\, your city look like if it were as easy to shape as wet sand? Tuva Lundborg\, who leads the workshop\, studies landscape architecture and is interested in exploring new ways to experience the city and the landscape. Through collage\, photography\, and film\, she builds memory landscapes which she then translates into models. \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nDesign a lamp or lantern from rice paper with Isak Folkesson\, Astrid Tømeraas och Clara Niemiec \n\n\n\nMake your own lampshade or lantern out of rice paper. The process allows for a lot of creativity and problem-solving\, giving you as a participant the opportunity to explore design with different materials. \n\n\n\nYou start by building a frame out of sticks or wire\, which you cover with rice paper and glue; the lamp will get a unique expression no matter how you do it. You can create a sleek design or decorate your object a little extra\, using paint\, newspaper\, dried flowers\, or other materials you find on site.\n \n\n\n\nSince we are outdoors in daylight\, it may be difficult to see the finished result\, but there will be solutions so that you can (temporarily) see your creation in action. The workshop will expand your understanding of design and construction\, and give you your own lamp to take home and show off when you have guests!\n \n\n\n\nRead more about this year’s Sommartorg. \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n\n\n\nInformation\n\n\n\nWhat: WorkshopWhen: Tuesday–Friday from 1–5 PMWhere: Summer Square \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nAdmission free\, drop in \n\n\n\nAbout Tuva Lundborg\nTuva Lundborg\, who leads the workshop\, studies landscape architecture and is interested in exploring new ways to experience the city and the landscape. SUMMARY:Arabic tour of How to Call a Ghost
DESCRIPTION:Start\nEvents\n\n \n \n\nArt halls guide Najim. \n\n\nArabic tour of How to Call a Ghost\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nArt halls guide Najim gives an Arabic tour of Bouchra Khalili’s exhibition “How to Call a Ghost”. The guided tour is approximately 45 minutes long and replaces the public tour. \n\n\n\nStorytelling tours are a concept that the art gallery began in 2019. In these tours\, people with a personal connection to the exhibition’s themes lead the tour instead of the gallery’s own guides. The storytelling tour is led by Adawiyah from the Iraqi Cultural Association\, in conversation with the art hall’s guide Nilas Hultman. \n\n\n\nJoin a storytelling tour of Bouchra Khalili’s exhibition “How to Call a Ghost” at Malmö Konsthall.
